Every tracker we ship is a genuine networked device: it joins the Apple Find My network, the Google Find Hub network or the Samsung SmartThings Find network. Buyers get real software support from the phone app they already use, not a closed vendor app and not a Bluetooth signal that only works inside our own app.
Why generic trackers fail and networked trackers do not
A coin-sized tracker is easy to copy mechanically. The hard part is the network protocol, the pairing experience and the long tail of certification. A cheap tag that only rings inside one vendor app is not a usable alternative to an AirTag, because the end user has to install and keep a second app alive.

CR2032 and AAA models let the end user swap the cell. Sealed rechargeable cells are a warranty and e-waste problem for bulk buyers.

Can you make an AirTag alternative under our own brand?
Yes. SKYTAG models are available under your brand, with industrial and mechanical design, tooling and Pantone-matched finishes, plus box-build with packaging and kitting.
Is a SKYTAG tracker really a drop-in AirTag replacement?
It is not an Apple product and it is not made by Apple. It is a Bluetooth Low Energy tracker that joins the Apple Find My network through Apple’s MFi licensing program, so it appears inside the Find My app on iPhone and iPad with no separate app to install. SKYTAG II and SKYTAG Button are the closest matches to the AirTag form factor; SKYTAG Button adds Google Find Hub so one unit covers both ecosystems.

Which networks do the trackers support?

Can one SKU ship to both iPhone and Android users?
Yes. SKYTAG Button (ST-2307) is dual-mode: Apple Find My on iOS 14.5+ and Google Find Hub on Android 9.0+. SKYTAG Card (ST-2303) is also available in an Apple + Google Find Hub dual-mode variant, and Samsung variants exist as ST-2201-S (SKYTAG II) and ST-2307-S (SKYTAG Button).
